First of all, I just want to say that I do not have a degree or any formal training in the field. I have always loved to read and I can read very quickly. Since starting this blog, I have started reviewing the books I read more thoroughly and I realized how much I enjoyed it. I am an experienced reviewer and I know what I like. I would love the opportunity to read your manuscript (or even a partial manuscript) and give you any advice that I can.
Writing is mentally and physically exhausting. I understand that and I admire anyone who decides to go through this long process. I promise that I will respect this process and respect your manuscript. Any criticism will be constructive and specific so that you know why I suggested the changes that I did. Any suggestions I make are just that: suggestions. You are under no obligation to make any changes to your book that you are not comfortable with. This is your baby, after all.

Submissions are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. The turnaround time does depend on any assignments that I am currently working on. If you decide to take advantage of my service, we can discuss the length of time needed for your submission. I promise to be as timely as I can.
I have two levels for this service:
Basic Read - This service includes a critical read of your manuscript, feedback on any concerns you may have (if applicable) and a one page summary of all the positives and negatives of your book. The summary of positives and negatives will include my thoughts on character, plot, world building, etc. For this service, I will charge a $20 flat rate. Any additional read throughs will be free of charge.*
Detailed Critique - This service includes a critical read of your manuscript, feedback on any concerns you may have (if applicable), a critique of your book chapter by chapter, as well as a one (or more) page summary of all of the positives and negatives of your book. The summary of positives and negatives will include my thoughts on character, plot, world building, etc. For this service, I will charge a $35 flat rate. Any additional read throughs will be free of charge.*
*Note that these fees are based on full manuscripts of 50,000 words or more. If you would like to submit a partial manuscript or a book that has fewer words, please contact me and we can discuss payment options for that.

- Include in the subject line "Beta Reading Request," along with the genre, age group for your manuscript and number of words
- In the body of the email, include the synopsis of the manuscript, along with the due date that you would need the feedback by.
- Also include the level of service that you would be requesting, as well as any specific concerns you would want me to address in my beta read.
From there, I will decide if I can take your manuscript. I will ask for the manuscript in Word form so that I can make any changes.
Just a note that if I read or edit your book, I will not be submitting any reviews on Goodreads or other retailer sites. I feel it would be a conflict of interest to do so.
