Fall in Paris!! |
CRUNCHING LEAVES
The world is full of color. Choose
a book that has reds, oranges or yellows on the cover.
|
The colors on this one scream Fall for sure. In A Handful of Dust (Not A Drop to Drink #2) by Mindy McGinnis is also a pretty great book.
COZY SWEATER
It’s finally cold enough to don
warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?
I smiled the entire time I was reading The Princess Bride by William Goldman.
FALL STORM
The wind is howling and the rain is
pounding. Choose your favorite book or genre that you like to read on a stormy
day.
Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay is one of my favorite books ever and it would be the perfect book to read on a stormy day.
COOL CRISP AIR
What’s the coolest character you’d
want to trade places with?
Yeah, I know Laney from Black Iris by Leah Raeder is kind of messed up and flawed (to say the least), but I just love how she grew into herself and didn't make any apologies for who she was.
HOT APPLE CIDER
What under-hyped book do you want
to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?
I don't know how much hype it got when it first came out a few years ago, but I don't see Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan mentioned nearly enough. It is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read.
COAT, SCARVES, AND MITTENS
The weather has turned cold and
it’s time to cover up. What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you
like to keep hidden in public?
I don't normally care what people think of my reading material. But I suppose I am glad I read the Kindle version of Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James.
PUMPKIN SPICE
What’s your favorite Fall Time
comfort food or drink?
Pumpkin flavored anything!! In my cabinets, I have: canned pumpkin, homemade pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bagels, pumpkin spice almonds and pumpkin spice peanut butter. I am just bummed there is no Starbucks in Italy. I absolutely love pumpkin spice lattes!
Love this tag because I am with you that fall is the best!! I am also a huge pumpkin fan. I am all for pumpkin anything. Pumpkin M&Ms are pretty fabulous. I have to read Two Boys Kissing because my first David Levithan book wasn't that great for me. Black Iris and The Sea of Tranquility are high on my TBRs though.
ReplyDeleteGrace, I LOVE pumpkin M&M's. They are SO good! It is so hard to eat healthy during pumpkin season. I hope you love Two Boys Kissing because I thought it was freaking amazing.
DeleteWhat a great post. I love fall too. Getting ready to make some pumpkin muffins soon. I've never read Fifty Shades, mostly because I tend to steer clear of overly hyped books.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your day.

DeleteWonderful post, Cynthia! <3 Thanks for making time for it :) I just started Sea of Tranquility today, btw. I'm expecting weak knees and a spinning head! Hugs
ReplyDeleteThanks Ramona. :) Oh I hope you love Sea of Tranquility. I know I did! I would love to go back and read it for the first time again. Amazing!
