Top Ten Tuesday - Book to Movie Adaptation Excitement!!

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They feature a different top ten list every week. This week's topic is the top book to movie adaptations I am looking forward to.

The following adaptations are ones that have definite release dates for 2016.
1. The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey

2. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

 3. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

4. Allegiant by Veronica Roth

 These adaptations are still in the works. For these, the rights have just been acquired so release dates are not known.

5. Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn

 6. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell

 7. Legend by Marie Lu

 8. All the bright places by Jennifer Niven

 9. Only Ever Yours by Louise O'Neill

 And this is an adaptation I REALLY need to see! I just read the book for the first time this year and it is now one of my all-time favorite books.
10. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

    Oh so many good ones!! Me Before You I am dying for. I think it will make a great movie. I loved Sharp Objects and hope they do a good job with it. Same with Eleanor & Park. I still need to read The Book Thief! Great list!

    I'm looking forward to Allegiant and I would be interested in Legend too, as I've heard good things.

    i'm excited for Allegiant as well, but i've yet to see Insurgent yet! i need to rent it from redbox one of these days! great TTT post this week!

      Thanks Emily! Insurgent was pretty good, though I thought there were too many special effects. I am super excited for Allegiant.
