Top Ten Tuesday - Series Overload!

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They feature a different top ten list every week. This week's topic is series that I have yet to finish.

Okay, so I am actually pretty good at finishing a series once I start it. There is only ONE series that I haven't finished.

1. Margaret Atwood's MaddAdam series - I have only read the first book in this series and I am honestly not sure why. I loved the first one. I guess there are just so many books on my TBR that this series fell by the wayside.
For the rest of this list, I will be listing sequels or finales to series I am waiting on! With these book series, I can't help the fact that I haven't finished them yet. If only an author would just release all the books in a series at once. Yeah, I'll keep dreaming on that one.

2. Winter (Lunar Chronicles #4) by Marissa Meyer - Scheduled publication date: November 10, 2015

3. After You (Me Before You #2) by Jojo Moyes - Scheduled publication date: September 29, 2015

4. The Last Star (The 5th Wave #3) by Rick Yancey - Scheduled Publication Date: May 17, 2016

5. Redemption (Mila 2.0 #3) by Debra Driza - Scheduled Publication Date: April 26, 2016

6. Rose Society (Young Elites #2) by Marie Lu - Scheduled Publication Date: October 13, 2015
7. Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes #2) by Sara Raasch - Scheduled Publication Date: October 13, 2015

8. Alight (The Generations Trilogy #2) by Scott Sigler (This is the sequel to Alive) - Scheduled Publication Date: February 2, 2016

9. Library of Souls (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children #3) by Ransom Riggs - Scheduled Publication Date: September 22, 2015

10. Hidden Bodies (You #2) by Caroline Kepnes - Scheduled Publication Date: February 23, 2016
11. Untitled (An Ember in the Ashes #2) - Scheduled Publication Date: April 28, 2016

Are there any book series that you haven't finished? Any sequels you are looking forward to?

    1. Krissy, oh I checked for Hidden Bodies on NetGalley but it turns out it was just for UK or Australia residents. D'oh! Such a disappointment. I can't wait to read that one!

  5. I'm so excited for Winter! I also need to catch up on the MILA trilogy, as I've only read the first. I haven't read any of the other series. I hope you catch up on or finish them soon!

  6. How funny, I'd completely forgotten about the Atwood series until I saw your list! I loved Oryx & Crake, enjoyed The Year of the Flood, and bought the 3rd book as soon as it came out -- and then never read it. I think at that point it felt like too much work to go back and figure out what had already happened in the series. I still have it, so maybe someday. And yes, I'm really looking forward to Winter, the Yancey book, and After You!

    1. bookshelffantasies, yeah I think I need to find some time for a reread of Oryx and Crake before continuing the series. I know I loved it, but it has been a while since I read it!

  7. Finally, someone else in today's TTT who is like me! It seems like we series-finishers are in the minority lol. I would so love it if authors just released all the books at once. Anyway, Snow Like Ashes and Miss Peregrine's are also books I'd like to read, but I'm in the middle of too many series to start any new unfinished ones right now, so I'm holding off for now.

  8. It's a great idea to put some order into series! I should try it too :) I used to finish every one I started, but not anymore. Most of the time, I lose interest :\ I can't wait for Winter though! :)

  15. DAMN, girl! You are my hero! This is seriously impressive. OH- there is a cover for Alight actually! It is yellow and makes me quite happy.(https://www.goodreads.com/book/photo/25489021-alight) If I could just figure out who to request a copy from, I'd be set ;) And I mean, obviously I haven't finished any of these because... no one has? Actually, that's probably not true. I assume the author, publisher, editor, and some beta readers have at least read most of these by now?

    1. Shannon, oh I am so glad there is a cover for Alight. I am with you . . . I need to get my hands on that ARC!!! Maybe since Alive was on NetGalley, Alight will be too . . . eventually. I will be keeping my finger crossed that I can actually get it.

  16. I really want to catch back up on The Fifth Wave series, since the movie is coming out. I could not stand Cassie's character, but I will always love Ringer and Zero's story. That is what makes me want to continue.

    1. Lyn, I actually liked Cassie, but I liked Ringer a lot more. I need to reread those again, I think. I may need to do that anyway before the conclusion comes out next year.
