Top Ten Tuesday - Favorite Authors That I Had No Idea Existed Before This Year!!

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They feature a different top ten list every week. This week's topic is my favorite authors read this year. Many of these authors have been around for a while, but I am a little late to the party.

  2. Ahh, you have great authors on this list! I love Jandy Nelson, Sarah J. Maas, Courtney Summers, Marissa Meyer, and Morgan Matson's books. David Levithan is an author I still haven't read from, but I believe I have one of his books.

  7. I read a lot of those authors for the first time this year as well! I love Maas' writing as well especially in ACOTAR.

  8. Sarah Fine for me is a new to me author I discovered this year, its not like I have not heard of her before, she has written a lot, but thanks to a friend for nudging me in that direction, it was well worth it

  9. Very nice list! Sarah J. Maas and Marissa Meyer made my list too! I almost added Jennifer Niven, but ran out of room ;) And I read Heather Demetrios and Jandy Nelson for the first time in like, late December of last year- so close, but not quite ;)

  11. I've heard so much good stuff about All The Bright Places! I need to read it. And I haven't read The Lunar Chronicles yet, but I finally bought Cinder, so it's happening ASAP. I think my favorite author I've discovered this year is Victoria Schwab. Though Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is my favorite book this year!

  15. I'm so so sooo glad you tried Marissa Meyer! BETTER LATE THAN NEVER. XD She is like one of my all time favourite books because I've never been disappointed with her writing!! SQUEE.

    1. Cait, Lunar Chronicles is one of the few series where there is NO WEAK BOOK! Every single installment just gets better and better. I am so glad that I discovered her and I can't wait to read her new book next year.

    1. Lyn, I LOVED This is not a test! She writes zombie books that are just as amazing as her contemporary stuff. And Jandy Nelson is now one of my favorite authors. I'll Give You The Sun was one of my favorite books read this year.
