So on January 31, if you are desperate to finish just one more book to satisfy that annoying Goodreads challenge, keep these in mind.
And yes, I am aware that there are only seven books in that list. As a bonus, I have listed a few books that were more than 200 pages, but I just could not put them down. I have a feeling you won't be able to either.
What are a few of your favorite books that you can read in one sitting? Have you read any of the ones on this list?
I still need to read We Should All Be Feminists - I own but haven't yet. I didn't love Honeymoon in Paris but liked the full length book it related too (can't think of the title). You was so addictive!!
ReplyDeleteI swear we read The Giver when I was in school but I don't remember it at all. I haven't read any of the other ones on your list yet. I have You and Honeymoon in Paris on my TBR list tho!
ReplyDeleteI also have We Should All Be Feminists on my list today. :D
ReplyDeleteFrederick Backman is really fun--I hadn't seen this one though. Hansel and Gretel--not sure I can do that much realism right now. Just coming off some very hard reading about refugees and displaced persons. Excellent list.

I have Please Remain Calm on my list too! I honestly loved this novella and the book it belonged to, even though I am not a huge fan of zombies.. I also still have You on my TBR and I am very excited to pick it up soon! Here's my TTT!
ReplyDeleteThe Giver and The Yellow Wallpaper are awesome!! Nice list of books in your post. I have We Should All Be Feminists on my ever growing reading wishlist!!

Yes to The Giver! I just recently reread this one, and then read the rest of the quartet for the first time. All short books, but so worth it! I read The Yellow Wallpaper back in college - so powerful. Great list!
ReplyDeleteYou is awesome! I listened to it on audio and I couldn't get enough!
