Did you really think I could stop with ten?
Including all the books in the Harry Potter series, I have nineteen on this list. Considering the fact that I have read well over two hundred books this year (240 and counting), I think that is a pretty good number.
What are a few of your favorite books that you read in 2016? Have you read any on this list?
After I Do made my list too!! I just finished and really enjoyed Illuminae. Maybe in Another Life was a favorite last year I think for me. I am still waiting on the first HP from the library but 2017 will be my year for those books!!
ReplyDeleteI really liked After I Do!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't stick to just 10 either! I haven't read quite as much as you (I'm at 224 as of now, and I'm hoping to finish one or two more before 2017), but I agree, it's too hard to pick just ten from that list. You read some fantastic books! I hope that 2017 brings even more great books to your doorstep!

Hurray for Harry Potter and Taylor Jenkins Reid! Awesome selections. Looks like you had an amazing reading year! I still need to get to my copy of Salt to the Sea...

I didn't get a chance to reread the Harry Potter series this year, but hopefully next year! I've never read Taylor Jenkins Reid before, but I have a couple of her books out of the library now. I'm really looking forward to them - I see her books on so many blogs, I figured it was time to check her out!
ReplyDeleteI just tried The Winner's Curse earlier this year too - and I really enjoyed it. :)
ReplyDeleteCheck out my TTT and my current giveaway.
There's not a year that goes by where I plan on reading the HP books..sigh. And yet, to this day, I haven't read a single chapter. So glad to see Ari and Dante, Salt to the Sea from your list!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your top reads of 2016!
I love Illuminae and the Winner's Curse! And I recently picked up the Impostor Queen definitely excited for it! I just got the 2nd illustrated HP book, so I think it might be time for a re-read. Awesome list, Cynthia!
