Sunday Post and May Wrap-Up

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer.  This week I thought I would use the Sunday post to recap the month of May.

I am sure I will say this every single month, but I can't help myself . . . this year is flying by!! I can't even believe it. May 28 was our one year anniversary for moving to Naples, Italy. I still can't believe we are living here. It has been an adventure for sure. Right now as this post goes up, I am enjoying some quality family time in the United States!

May was a really great month. I turned 35 years old and celebrated with a trip to London. I checked an item off my bucket list there: I saw a Shakespeare play (Romeo and Juliet) at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre. That was such an awesome experience. That whole trip was just a blast.

My husband really spoils me because in addition to the trip to London, he got me a Fitbit for my birthday. I don't know what took me so long to get it, but I am so glad I did. I love it! It has really made a difference in how active I am. I love it. If you want to be Fitbit friends, you can find me at g_girl0921@yahoo.com.

May was also a really good month, reading wise. I loved so many of the books I read.

I read eighteen books in May.

  4. Living in Italy must be quite an experience. I've always wanted to go there. I've also wanted to visit England since I was a kid. That is so cool that you got to see a Shakespeare play at Globe Theater!

I just recently reread Cress. I love that series but Cress is my favorite of the three books. Can't wait to find out what happens in Winter!

  7. I have started reading Cinder, but I've only just started it. I'm really looking forward to digging in! My favorite read this month has been Eleanor & Park. It was my first Rainbow Rowell book & I adored it! I bet the play was amazing. Happy birthday! Here's my TSP! :)

  8. Ah, London, I'm dying to go back. :)

I got an Up band in February. I love it. It helps keep me moving at work since I spend most of my day sitting and staring at my computer troubleshooting issues.

  9. I love my Fitbit too!! I've been wearing one for 3, maybe 4 years now... I accidentally lost the 1st two Fitbits I owned as they'd come off rim of my pants. I ended having to attach it to my pockets and haven't had a problem losing it since then. I guess 3rd time is the charm as they say.

  11. I'm glad you had such a good month! I can't believe May is already over! I feel like I missed out on half the month with moving and everything, how can the year be so old already? =)

I'm glad you loved Cress so much! It's my favorite in the series(so far). I feel like I didn't read a ton this month so I'd have to say my favorite book was either The Lady In Blue or The Storyspinner. =)
