Top Ten Tuesday - New to Me Authors

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They feature a different top ten list every week. This week's topic is my favorite authors that I read for the first time this year.

1. Ryan Graudin

2 V.E. Schwab

3. Marie Rutkoski
4. J.K. Rowling
5. Kim Holden
6. Taylor Jenkins Reid
7. Jennifer Mathieu
8. Emily Henry

9. Robin Benway

10. Emma Donahue

What are a few of your new-to-you authors? Are there any on this list that you absolutely love? Any on this list that you haven't read yet? If not, what are you waiting for??

Also, don't forget to enter my giveaway! It goes until the first of the year.

    1. Greg, you really should! I have read all her books except one (and that's only because I can't handle that level of emotion right now) and I have loved all of them. Maybe in another life is still my favorite, but she's pretty amazing with all of her books.

  7. I just wanted to thank you for an older post about culling your TBR. When I first read it, I thought why would I even do that having a giant list really isn't hurting me? But then I guess I thought about it and really dug into my list (which is hundreds of books long spanning 5 or so years) and researched the books there and removed the ones that I didn't really want to read and those that my state library system didn't have (because I'll never buy a book) and since it's years old it will never get ordered if it hasn't already. I'm not done but I have the beginnings of a manageable list and have knocked out some of the earlier TBR list and have loved those books. Thank you!!!!

    1. Oh wow CT, I love hearing that! Seriously, that makes my day. I am so glad that one of my posts helped you. I know that on the surface, a TBR with books you don't even own doesn't seem to make much of a difference to you. But it can feel like so much pressure (to me anyway). So glad to hear that your list is much more manageable!
