It's Monday, what are YOU reading?

It's Monday, what are you reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Journey to share what you have read over the past week and what our plans are for the upcoming week.

Here is what I read last week:

Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood

White Gardenia by Belinda Alexandra

Snow-Kissed by Laura Florand

If You Find This Letter: My Journey to Find Purpose Through Hundreds of Letters to Strangers by Hannah Brencher

I have not done ANY reading over the weekend, which is a bit unusual for me. I have been in a weird mood I guess. Hoping that changes this week.

Here is what I am reading (and listening to) right now:

The Lottery and Other Stories by Shirley Jackson

To Kill a Mockingbird on audio by Harper Lee (I am really loving the narration by Sissy Spacek)

What are you reading right now?

    1. Lois, the book is just as good as I remember, maybe even better! I love it, but I haven't read it since high school. I think I am able to appreciate it more as an adult.

  3. Oh that's a great idea! I haven't read To Kill A Mockingbird, so I'm glad it's on Audible! And heck, Sissy Spacek has one of those distinct voices, so double yay! Lol.

    Happy reading, Cyn!

    1. Joyous Reads, I haven't listened to too many audio books, but I was sold when I read that Sissy Spacek was the narrator. I love her and her narration has been amazing!!

  5. Somehow, despite reading a couple hundred books a year, I have never read To Kill a Mockingbird. I know I have a copy on my TBR mountain though. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  6. Not reading for a few days sometimes is good because it renews interest and also helps us do other things!

    2. Actually, I read a bit of it and I think I'm going to set it aside for now and come back to it when I'm more in the mood for that type of book. For now, I'm going to finish reading A Wind in the Door by Madeleine L'Engle.

  8. Ooh, I'd love to reread TKAM. I read it before I even blogged and it kind of bothers me that I never have reviewed it. x) An audio book would rock, actually, I wonder if my library has one...
I'm reading The Help at the moment! AN ADULT BOOK GO ME ! hehe. And I'm also reading The Giver so, um, yeah, quite a genre difference there. ;-)
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!

    1. Cait, The Help and The Giver are both awesome books! I have been reading a lot of YA too but I am trying to branch out. It is hard though because there are so many great YA books out there. And I have not actually read TKAM since high school! Crazy, right? I remember loving it, but I do believe I am enjoying it even more as an adult. I guess I can appreciate it a bit more.
