It's Monday, what are you reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Journey to share what you have read over the past week and what our plans are for the upcoming week.
Here is what I read last week:
Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood
White Gardenia by Belinda Alexandra
Snow-Kissed by Laura Florand
If You Find This Letter: My Journey to Find Purpose Through Hundreds of Letters to Strangers by Hannah Brencher
I have not done ANY reading over the weekend, which is a bit unusual for me. I have been in a weird mood I guess. Hoping that changes this week.
Here is what I am reading (and listening to) right now:
The Lottery and Other Stories by Shirley Jackson
To Kill a Mockingbird on audio by Harper Lee (I am really loving the narration by Sissy Spacek)
What are you reading right now?
I'm planning on re-reading To Kill a Mockingbird sometimes this month. I'm excited to read it again after many years. :)

Lois, the book is just as good as I remember, maybe even better! I love it, but I haven't read it since high school. I think I am able to appreciate it more as an adult.
DeleteI can't wait to read her sequel to To Kill A Mockingbird! I hope to see you around my blog

Thanks Katelynn, I know I can't wait for the sequel either!
DeleteOh that's a great idea! I haven't read To Kill A Mockingbird, so I'm glad it's on Audible! And heck, Sissy Spacek has one of those distinct voices, so double yay! Lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, Cyn!
Joyous Reads, I haven't listened to too many audio books, but I was sold when I read that Sissy Spacek was the narrator. I love her and her narration has been amazing!!
DeleteBeen planning to reread To Kill A Mockingbird for a while now. Didn't think about listening to it, but that's a great idea - thanks! Otherwise, last week's fav with me was Althea & Oliver. This week, Blood Magic by Tessa Gratton.
ReplyDeleteRamona, I really recommend TKAM as an audio. I don;t even listen to many audio books, but I am loving this one! Althea and Oliver has been on my TBR forever! I am so glad you enjoyed it. :)
DeleteSomehow, despite reading a couple hundred books a year, I have never read To Kill a Mockingbird. I know I have a copy on my TBR mountain though. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteKathy, you really must read TKAM! IT is so good. Thanks so much for stopping by!
DeleteNot reading for a few days sometimes is good because it renews interest and also helps us do other things!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right Kathryn! I think I just needed to recharge my batteries. :)
DeleteI'm hoping to start Seeker by Arwen Elys Dayton soon.
ReplyDeleteBreana, I was not a fan of Seeker. But I hope your enjoy it!
DeleteActually, I read a bit of it and I think I'm going to set it aside for now and come back to it when I'm more in the mood for that type of book. For now, I'm going to finish reading A Wind in the Door by Madeleine L'Engle.
DeleteOoh, I'd love to reread TKAM. I read it before I even blogged and it kind of bothers me that I never have reviewed it. x) An audio book would rock, actually, I wonder if my library has one...
ReplyDeleteI'm reading The Help at the moment! AN ADULT BOOK GO ME ! hehe. And I'm also reading The Giver so, um, yeah, quite a genre difference there. ;-)
Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
Cait, The Help and The Giver are both awesome books! I have been reading a lot of YA too but I am trying to branch out. It is hard though because there are so many great YA books out there. And I have not actually read TKAM since high school! Crazy, right? I remember loving it, but I do believe I am enjoying it even more as an adult. I guess I can appreciate it a bit more.
DeleteAt the moment I'm reading Dreamfire by Kit Alloway which is interesting, but a bit slow. It's a great time to refresh yourself on To Kill a Mockingbird!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is Jeann! I am so excited for the sequel this summer. I needed a refresher!
DeleteI don't think I got much reading done this weekend either. Weird moods are the worst! I loved To Kill a Mockingbird. It looks like a great one to reread. :)
ReplyDeleteKaitlin, I haven't even read TKAM since I was in high school. It is even better than I remembered!
DeleteI haven't read any of those books >< I'm currently trying to start the whole Game of Thrones series, wish me luck aha!!
ReplyDeleteAmy;
Little Moon Elephant
Haha, oh yes good luck with that! I just can't seem to get into them. They seem so heavy.
