Top Ten Tuesday - 2015 Releases that are STILL on my TBR Pile

This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They feature a different top ten list every week. This week's topic is top ten 2015 releases I really meant to get to, but didn't.

There are many 2015 releases that have been on my TBR since their release. I really wish I had an unlimited book budget, but alas, I do not. I did limit this list to 2015 books that I actually own. I hope to get to all of these within the next month or so. We'll see what happens.

What are a few 2015 books that you meant to get to, but didn't? Are there any here that you have read? Where would you recommend that I start?

  1. I absolutely loved Ink and Bone for a diverse fantasy that was well constructed! I liked the Wrath and the Dawn but had a few issues with it. Paperweight was super depressing. Hope you enjoy your books Cynthia!

    1. Thanks Jeann! I am sure Paperweight is depressing, but I am kind of a masochist. I like books that just crush me. :)

    1. Thanks Grace! I have never read a Sarah Dressen book either, so I am excited to finally see what all the fuss is about. And it doesn't hurt that so many people I trust love it. :)

  7. I got to 2 of the books on your list- Jesse's Girl and A Madness So Discreet- but Miranda Kenneally is a local author and I attend her signings whenever possible, and I did a blog tour for AMSD- which is one of the few times I have an actual set time to read a book. So many of the books on your list are books I want to read too- some I forgot about!

  8. A Madness so Discreet is GREAT! It was my first book by the author and I definitely want to read her other two this year.

I also want to get to The Wrath and the Dawn and Blood and Salt this year.

    1. Wendy, oh I know, that is such a beautiful cover. If the premise weren't so great, I would still want to read it based on the cover alone. :)

  11. The only one I've read is Jesse's Girl (which I liked a lot, although I think I liked some of the author's other books even more). I've been holding off on reading The Wrath and the Dawn, but now that the sequel is coming out this spring, I'm going to indulge soon. I love some of these covers! Good luck, and enjoy!

    1. Lyn, argh I STILL haven't read Paperweight. Maybe it's the heavy topic that is making me hold out. I will get to it eventually, I am sure.
