There are many 2015 releases that have been on my TBR since their release. I really wish I had an unlimited book budget, but alas, I do not. I did limit this list to 2015 books that I actually own. I hope to get to all of these within the next month or so. We'll see what happens.
What are a few 2015 books that you meant to get to, but didn't? Are there any here that you have read? Where would you recommend that I start?
I absolutely loved Ink and Bone for a diverse fantasy that was well constructed! I liked the Wrath and the Dawn but had a few issues with it. Paperweight was super depressing. Hope you enjoy your books Cynthia!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeann! I am sure Paperweight is depressing, but I am kind of a masochist. I like books that just crush me. :)
DeleteGood list!! Blood and Salt looks like a good read!
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my TTT post for this week: http://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2016/01/top-ten-tuesday-top-ten-2015-releases-i.html
Thanks Captivated Reader!
DeleteInk and Bone sounds so good - that's going on my TBR (uh oh!).
ReplyDeleteHere's my list: TTT
bornandread, sorry for increasing your TBR even more! Actually, no I'm not. :)
DeleteI have The Wrath & The Dawn and Ink & Bone on my list this week too - they keep staring at me from my bookshelves! Happy reading :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Rhoda! I know that evil look that unread books give all too well. :)
DeleteI really enjoyed Saint Anything. It was my first Sarah Dessen too. There are a bunch here I want to get to at some point to - The Wrath and the Dawn, What We Saw, Madness So Discreet. Hope you get to them and enjoy them all!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace! I have never read a Sarah Dressen book either, so I am excited to finally see what all the fuss is about. And it doesn't hurt that so many people I trust love it. :)
DeleteI like the look of Paperweight. Thanks for sharing it and your other choices.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten!
Thanks Deb!
DeleteI got to 2 of the books on your list- Jesse's Girl and A Madness So Discreet- but Miranda Kenneally is a local author and I attend her signings whenever possible, and I did a blog tour for AMSD- which is one of the few times I have an actual set time to read a book. So many of the books on your list are books I want to read too- some I forgot about!
ReplyDeleteKate, there are just so many books and so little time, right??
DeleteA Madness so Discreet is GREAT! It was my first book by the author and I definitely want to read her other two this year.
ReplyDeleteI also want to get to The Wrath and the Dawn and Blood and Salt this year.
Crini, I am so glad that you loved it! I have read Mindy McGinnis before and I love her. I hope you read her other stuff. I am sure you will love it.
DeleteInk and Bone has been getting a lot of love- hope it's good. Hope you enjoy... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Greg!
DeleteI just keep staring at that cover for A Madness So Discrete. Love the colors. I haven't read any of these books, but it looks like a good list!
ReplyDeleteWendy, oh I know, that is such a beautiful cover. If the premise weren't so great, I would still want to read it based on the cover alone. :)
DeleteThe only one I've read is Jesse's Girl (which I liked a lot, although I think I liked some of the author's other books even more). I've been holding off on reading The Wrath and the Dawn, but now that the sequel is coming out this spring, I'm going to indulge soon. I love some of these covers! Good luck, and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLisa @ Bookshelf Fantasies
Thanks so much Lisa!
DeleteInk and Bone was on my list this week too!

IloveHeartlandX, I hope you love it too!
DeleteI forgot about Saint Everything! I used to be very up to date on Sarah Dessen, but I think I need to start reading her again.
ReplyDeleteLindsey, I have never actually read Sarah Dressen. This will be my first!
DeleteI definitely need to get around to more of my 2015 releases! I can't keep up! :-) Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chrissi!
DeleteSO MANY GOOD ONES THERE. The Wrath and the Dawn, Paperweight and Saint Anything are all amazing <3 <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Loony Literate! I have read rave reviews about every single book on this list. It's so hard to figure out which one to read first!
DeleteInk and Bone was also on my list but I never got around to reading it. I still want to give it a try this year though. Happy Reading ^^
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Soudha!
DeleteOh man, Ink and Bone is on my list too! It sounds so good! I love the cover of Paperweight and A Madness so Discrete.
ReplyDeleteThe Wrath and the Dawn was a good read (: Great list! Hope you get to them soon ;)
Thanks so much Cyn!
DeleteOooooo! Blood and Salt and The Wrath and the Dawn are SO good!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stefani! I think The Wrath and the Dawn is next on my TBR! All of these books look so amazing. I have such a hard time trying to decide what to read next.
DeleteI was so excited to get Paperweight, and I have yet to get to it as well. I am still waiting to get to that beauty, too.
ReplyDeleteLyn, argh I STILL haven't read Paperweight. Maybe it's the heavy topic that is making me hold out. I will get to it eventually, I am sure.
