This is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They feature a different top ten list every week. This week's topic is top authors that I will buy absolutely anything from. There may or may not (mostly may) be some overlap from last week's list of my most read authors.
1. Marissa Meyer
2. Margaret Atwood
4. JoJo Moyes
6. Amy Harmon - Her books are amazing! The Law of Moses is one of my favorite books ever.
7. Jandy Nelson - Both I'll Give You The Sun and The Sky is Everywhere were beautiful works of art.

AHHH SO MUCH LOVE FOR JANDY NELSON! :D I keep meaning to get The Sky is Everywhere out from the library *glares at ominously looming tbr* But I will soon because I'll Give You the Sun was just ENDLESSLY WONDERFUL. <3 Also so much love for Marissa Meyer and Rainbow Rowell of course. ^_^ Here's my TTT!
ReplyDeleteCait, you MUST read The Sky Is Everywhere! That was an AMAZING book!!
DeleteI can't believe I forgot to put Jojo Moyes on my list. That's a massive fail for me, as she's one of my favourites! Great choices, Cynthia! My TTT!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Chrissi! Jojo Moyes is pretty amazing. :)
DeleteMeyer made my list this week as well. I need her new book now! I really need to hurry up and read a Rainbow book already. I dont know whats wrong with me. Great list :)

jazminjade, OMG what is wrong with you?? (I say that in my least judgmental tone ever). You MUST read Rainbow Rowell. Eleanor and Park was AMAZING!!!
DeleteOh I forgot Amy Harmon!! I absolutely love her. her books are so different to me. We share a couple others. And I think Marissa Meyers might be making that list for me soon. I am loving the lunar Chronicles. Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace! I love everything Amy Harmon has done. She is so freaking good.
DeleteSo many great authors on here and we share a couple too! Great choices!

Thanks Rosy!
DeleteI know Marissa Meyer is very popular, and she is coming to Michigan soon so I'm curious. And Gillian Flynn too, since they seem so twist and I like those. :)
ReplyDeleteGreg, Gillian Flynn knows how to write twisted characters and dark mysteries. She needs to come out with another book soon!
DeleteGreat list! I could easily have included Marissa Meyer too. I've loved so many Margaret Atwood books, but she's not always an automatic for me... maybe because I still have a couple of her books that I bought and then never read. Sigh.
ReplyDeletebookshelffantasies, Oh I know what you mean about Margaret Atwood. I am still making my way through her library of works. But I love everything I have read by her!
DeleteLove authors 1, 2, 7, and 9! Great list!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lola!
DeleteRae Carson, Laini Taylor, Maggie Stiefvater, and more recently, Neil Gaiman. In no particular order ;)
ReplyDeleteRamona, oh Maggie Stiefvater is SO GOOD!! I have not read Neil Gaiman yet, but I have heard great things.
DeleteLove Summers for sure and Black Iris was so good. I have about a dozen authors on my auto-buy list from Stephen King to Jayne Anne Krentz.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kimba! You know what's crazy? I have never read a Stephen King book. Ha, weird right?
DeleteI have seen Margaret Atwood on a few peoples lists and its not an author and am familiar with. Rainbow Rowell is an author I really want to check out.
ReplyDeleteMegan @ http://readingawaythedays.blogspot.co.uk
Megan, oh you must read Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. It is so good!!
DeleteYour list is pretty damn awesome Cynthia! Is it wrong that even though i have never read a Rainbow book she is still on my auto buy list lol
ReplyDelete❤️Britt @ Please Feed The Bookworm
Britt, haha nothing wrong with that. But I would suggest that you read a Rowell book ASAP! :)
DeleteCourtney Summers!! A total favorite of mine for sure!!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT is here.
Irish, YES! I have read almost everything she had read and it is all AMAZING!!
DeleteYes Courtney Summers. She is so freaking awesome, and her books are just great.
